Info
Summary
To get the most out of targetconnect, each department should appoint a dedicated product champion. This person will act as the go-to expert for the system and help ensure it’s used effectively across the team.

Responsibilities of a targetconnect Champion

  3. Manage configuration changes within the system
  4. Liaise with internal IT on technical matters such as student data imports and single sign-on
  5. Coordinate with GTI Support for issues requiring external assistance

Time Commitment

This is not a full-time role. Depending on the time of year, it may require 25–50% of a person’s time. However, it is a critical role that:
  1. Improves departmental efficiency and reduces system-related frustrations
  2. Enables full use of targetconnect’s features, unlocking potential efficiency gains
  3. Ensures the system evolves in line with departmental needs

Implementation Involvement

Ideally, the champion will be involved from the start of the targetconnect implementation. This ensures they gain a deep understanding of the system’s configuration and can support its ongoing development.
