How to Manage Reference Data Cleanup - Courses, Departments and Faculties

This document aims to explain how you can bulk remove reference data on your platform that you no longer require. There are a number of reasons as to why you may want to do this, such as removing legacy data, rectifying import errors and cleaning up unused data.

Reference data cleanup is a free service when requested within the scope of 'Courses, Departments and Faculties'. Custom data cleanup requests may incur a charge and should be discussed with your Key Account Manager.

Our current process only supports deactivating courses/departments/faculties that are not currently supplied on the live student data feed. 

Overview of The Process

1. Main institution contact your Key Account Manager, providing the following details:
  1. Which reference data you would like removed ie any unused courses, departments and faculties
  2. Any timescales you would like to adhere to
2. The technical integrations team will schedule the data cleanup and notify you when complete.
