We provide APIs that allow you to push data in and get data out or TARGETconnect. However, we have worked on third party integrations before with various external sources. If you are looking to integrate TARGETconnect with a new system you will need to contact your Account Manager and outline how you would like the integration to work. To integrate with any other API or system the following needs to take place:

1. Create technical requirements specification
   
   1. A document that reiterates the top level requirements
   2. A document that details the mapping rules of
      
      1. Data types i.e. User or Address
      2. Data fields i.e. Notes body or Country
      3. Data values including reference data i.e. Notes Types or Countries
2. Implementation via middleware software that will manage and perform the Extract, Transform & Load (ETL)
   
   1. Extract or accept data from TARGETconnect
   2. Perform the transforms defined by the mapping rules
   3. Loads the data into the target system
3. Testing and deployment of the middleware
4. Maintenance of the middleware

There are three groups of people that can do this work:
