Your targetconnect production system is a web application we need to specify a domain name. We support two methods of doing this.

1. Use a targetconnect subdomain like 'uni.targetconnect.net'. This requires no work from the Institution other than specifying the preferred subdomain name.
   
   
2. Use an Institution specific subdomain like 'careers.uni.ac.uk'.
   

How do we set up an Institution subdomain?

We use AWS domain verification for automatic certificate renewal

1. Agree what Institution specific subdomain you would like to use. Something like 'careers.uni.ac.uk'.
   
   
2. Let us know and we will generate some CNAME records for you to add to allow for automatic certificate renewal. You do not need to provide new annual security certificates.
   
   
3. Once the CNAME records are resolving, we will add your certificate to our AWS loadbalancer certificate listener
   
   
4. We will provide you with 3 static IP addresses to add to each domain, pointing to our AWS loadbalancer.
