Institution Website Integrations
For students to access your TARGETconnect services you could add links to your own website.
You can also use links to send a student direct to a specific service link, appointment booking or even pre-filtered vacancy searches. The following links can be used:
Service URLs
TARGETconnect Page | URL | Description |
Homepage | | Send user to the main home page using SSO |
Appointments | | Send user to the appointment find appointment page |
Events | | Send user to the main event search |
| Event Calendar | | Send user to the main event calendar |
Vacancy Search | | Send user to the main job search |
Placement Schemes | | Send user to the placements scheme list |
Placement Search | | Send user to the main placement search |
Queries | | Send user to the 'ask us a question' page |
Pathways | | Send user to their pathways |
Skills Framework | | Send user to the skills framework |
Career Discovery Feed | | Send user to the Career Discovery Feed |
Career Passport | | Send user to their Career Passport |
CVs | | Send user to the CVs page |
Booking Summary | | Send user to the session bookings summary page |
The student path of the links above can be replaced with:
| Student Path Replacement | URL Example | Description |
| Graduate | | Specific links for graduates to access their services |
User | | Specific links for custom users to access their services |
Leap | | General links for all users. NOTE: this adds an extra step for students so you should avoid this unless necessary |
One of the ways to get users to use the TARGETconnect services is to automatically pull the content out of TARGETconnect and display it integrated on your main website. So, for example, you could have a feed of engineering vacancies to appear on your engineering faculty website or a feed of law events to display on your law society website.
A way to achieve this is to use RSS feeds to feed data for a specific saved search. Your IT team will need to provide you with a way of adding the feed data to your main website.
It is possible to feed vacancies and events to social media. For more information:
