TARGETconnect Website Integration

Institution Website Integrations

For students to access your TARGETconnect services you could add links to your own website.

You can also use links to send a student direct to a specific service link, appointment booking or even pre-filtered vacancy searches. The following links can be used:

RSS Feeds

One of the ways to get users to use the TARGETconnect services is to automatically pull the content out of TARGETconnect and display it integrated on your main website. So, for example, you could have a feed of engineering vacancies to appear on your engineering faculty website or a feed of law events to display on your law society website.

A way to achieve this is to use RSS feeds to feed data for a specific saved search. Your IT team will need to provide you with a way of adding the feed data to your main website.

Social Media Integrations

It is possible to feed vacancies and events to social media. For more information:

Advanced Reporting REST APIs

Advanced Reporting Feeds are a set of APIs that allow you to extract data to a third party reporting tool or data warehouse:

    1. For teams with a fairly solid understanding of data & Management/Business Intelligence tools.
    2. Allows for the greatest level of control, understanding and customisation.
    3. We're also working on a set of Advanced Reporting Feed Power BI templates. Just plug in your data feeds and you're good to go!
